Yalu is an Aboriginal Corporation delivering programs, research and community education to strengthen health and wellbeing from a foundation of cultural integrity.

The Governor General David Hurley and his wife  Ms Linda Hurley came to Galiwin’ku in 2020 to award Ruth Dhurkay with a bravery award.

We were so proud to see that our young Ruth received that award and protected her friend.

We were happy to support the visit. It was a privilege.

This plaque was given to Yalu during his visit. It is an honour to have receive this plaque.
